Customer?s complaint may include a MIL-on with one or more of the following DTCs Active, Pending, or Stored in the PCM: P0133, P0137, P0171, P0300, P2096. The root cause could be due to oil leaking from Bank 1 valve cover seal on to the 1/2 Bank 1 downstream O2 sensor. This can adversely affect the 1/2 O2 sensor signal reading and lead to listed DTCs. Before performing normal diagnostic routines for the above codes, check for the condition listed above.

After update, system requires three sleep cycles to function properly. Please verify camera LVDS- Low-Voltage Differential Signaling cable connection at camera and radio head unit. Also verify harness connection between high mounted stop lamp and body harness for bent pins or loose connection at XY310A, XY485A inlines. Please create and send a copy of the vehicle scan report and specify radio SW version and radio head unit ID toFCA Redacted Content or call FCA Redacted Content for any additional questions or assistance needed. If no response in 15 minutes, proceed with repair. Please be sure to attach a copy of the Vehicle Scan Report on the repair order.

The customer may also comment or note that the DTC set after the installation of a Mopar or an aftermarket trailer brake controller.The 12 volt back feed of the aftermarket trailer brake controller into the redundant connection between the Body Control Module (BCM) and the Anti Lock Brake Module (ABS) is causing a design intent diagnostic detection of the stop lamps.Software enhancement includes:Removal of the warning lamp associated with this DTC so an aftermarket trailer brake controller can be used.
