Note 1: This code can be generated by disconnecting the PRNDL from Shifter while battery is connected. NOTE 2: If battery is NOT disconnected while servicing Shifter 04670682A$: PRNDL power from Shifter will be deactivated after 3 seconds of being disconnected from Shifter. Power to Shifter will have to be removed for approx.. 20 seconds after PRNDL is connected to reset power to PRNDL from the Shifter. Power can be reset by removing battery power or disconnecting the shifter main connector. This is due to a safety feature built into the Shifter that will cut power to the PRNDL if a communication error is observed between the Shifter and PRNDL. Please return parts back to FCA Engineering if PRNDL is deemed non-functional after performing this TECHtip. |
