PCM - Switch Correlation Fault Code B23C3~ We need the vehicle to remain undisturbed so that the team can perform progressive disassembly and determine if there is an impact of the ICS to I/P mounting on this issue.~ Issue 2:~ On a 2016MY WK (Grand Cherokee) and WD (Durango), the Integrated Center Stack (ICS) may experience a lock-up condition (complete loss of functionality) during any vehicle diagnostic session (reading fault codes, clearing fault codes, reflashing of any module, etc.). If this occurs, do not replace the ICS. The module functionality can be restored if it is reset by disconnecting power to it (by removing fuse, battery disconnect or module connector disconnect).~ |

Upon further investigation the technician may find the following DTCs set in the PCM memory: U1424 - Implausible Engine Torque Signal Received (2017 MY 3.0L and 3.6L Only). P2681 - Engine Coolant Bypass Valve Control Circuit Open (3.6L Only). P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. P2299-00 - Brake Pedal Position/Accelerator Pedal Position Incompatible. B23C3 - Stop/Start Disable Switch 1/2 Correlation (3.0L and 3.6L Only). In addition, customers may experience the following conditions: A shorter auxiliary battery life. Trans Pan or Gasket If your repair requires replacing one of the two part numbers for a leak, prior to the repair please call Enzo Piazza at cell (248) 467-9163. Pentastar Oil Filter Adapter All vehicles equipped with a 3.2L or 3.6L engine; If replacing the Oil Filter Adapter (OFA) due to a leak detected between OFA and block, an O-ring kit (68191356AA) is now available to repair OFA/Block Interface leaks. Using dye will assist in determining source of leak. Ensure OFA Cap Oring is seated in the proper groove in the cap and not damaged or cut. Engineering is seeking information regarding OFA leaks. Engine Oil Viscosity Upgrade And Flash Enhancements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and the Transmission Control Module (TCM). It also involves changing the engine oil with new 5W40 engine oil and applying a sticker to the engine oil filler cap. An addendum card will need to be added in the owner's manual. The following powertrain system improvements/enhancements are included in this software release: · Fan calibration. · Transmission calibration. · Revised oil change algorithm. |

Water pumps are found TNF but the water pump bypass o-ring was pinched resulting in a coolant leak that looks like a failed pump. Please inspect the bypass o-ring before replacing the pump as it is available separate for service. |

The gaskets are not required by warranty to be replaced like they are on Pentastar Classic (ERB/EHB). The new gaskets are not interchangeable with Pentastar Classic Intake Manifold Gaskets. |
