Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Jeep Cherokee vehicles manufactured January 4, 2013, to February 18, 2015 and equipped with a Power Liftgate option. In the affected vehicles, water may enter the Power Liftgate Control Module and cause a high resistance short circuit in the module. Built 2013-01-04 to 2015-02-18. |

Safety Risk: A short circuit could create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. FCA Canada advises that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed. |
