Service bulletins for the 2017 Jaguar XJ

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

426 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

SSM736602018-01-29. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION:FRONT; SUSPENSION. Issue: Jaguar XJ customers may complain of a creak, squeak or knock from the front suspension area, particularly enhanced at various speeds whilst travelling over speed bumps or uneven road surfaces. Upon inspection, technicians have identified the causal part as being the front anti- roll bar (ARB) bushes, having the P/N C2D5793. Replacement with a new pair of bushes has subsequently resolved the customer complaint. Investigations into returned parts by both JLR and component suppliers have failed to identify causal factors or defects which may have created the initial customer complaint.
