In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger frontal air bag, these inflators may explode due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to absolute humidity and temperature cycling. Built 2007-12-04 to 2009-02-11.
17V0270002017-01-10. AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:PASSENGER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2012 Jaguar XF vehicles originally sold, or ever registered, in Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands (Saipan), and the U.S. Virgin Islands, or "Zone A." Vehicles not originally sold or ever registered in either Zones A or B are not subject to this safety recall. These vehicles are equipped with certain air bag inflators assembled as part of the passenger frontal air bag modules, and used as original equipment or replacement equipment. In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the front air bags, these inflators may rupture due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to absolute humidity and temperature cycling. Built 2007-11-30 to 2009-04-21.
16V3730002016-05-27. AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:PASSENGER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain model year 2009-2011 Jaguar XF vehicles originally sold, or ever registered, in Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands (Saipan), and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Vehicles not originally sold or ever registered in these states are not subject to this safety recall. Built 2007-10-04 to 2011-06-27.
16V2290002016-04-20. AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:DRIVER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain model year 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2015 XF vehicles manufactured February 6, 2008 to October 20, 2014. In the affected vehicles, the driver frontal air bags may be missing a chemical enhancer required for the second stage deployment, resulting in the second stage deploying improperly in certain crashes. Built 2008-02-06 to 2014-10-20.
08V6070002008-11-24. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. JAGUAR IS RECALLING 3,754 MY 2009 XF VEHICLES FOR INSTRUMENT CLUSTER SPEAKER FUNCTION PROBLEMS. THE SPEAKER WIRES MAY FRACTURE. AS A RESULT, THE SPEAKER WILL CEASE TO OPERATE. Built 2007-10-21 to 2008-03-11.
08V3960002008-08-14. SEAT BELTS:REAR/OTHER. JAGUAR IS RECALLING 7,918 MY 2009 XF VEHICLES. THE REAR SAFETY BELT D-RING ASSEMBLY MAY NOT ROTATE PROPERLY AROUND THE SAFETY BELT ANCHORAGE MOUNTING BOLT. IF THE ASSEMBLY IS NOT HELD TOGETHER WHEN TIGHTENING, THE D-RING AND/OR WASHER CAN SEPARATE FROM THE SHOULDER OF THE SPACER, ALLOWING THESE PARTS TO BE PARTIALLY CLAMPED BY THE SPACER, FORMING A BURR ON EITHER THE D-RING OR THE WASHER AND SUBSEQUENTLY LIMITING PROPER ROTATION OF THE D-RING. Built 2007-10-22 to 2008-05-22.

20180082018-01-08. Airbag. On certain vehicles, long-term exposure to high absolute humidity and temperature, combined with high temperature cycling, could eventually degrade the propellant contained in the passenger frontal airbag. This could cause the airbag to deploy with more force than normal. As a result, if the vehicle were involved in a collision that warrants airbag deployment, fragments could be propelled toward vehicle occupants, and the airbag assembly could be damaged, preventing proper function. These issues could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the passenger frontal airbag module. Note: Canadian climate results in the propellant degrading slowly. The recall is being conducted as a precaution to address future risk, and is expected to replace the passenger frontal airbag module before their function would be affected.
20084092008-11-14. Electrical. On certain vehicles, the instrument cluster speaker wires may fracture as a consequence of an overly aggressive turn signal sound wave form, the volume of which is vehicle speed dependant. At higher speeds the wave form has an amplitude that aggravates the condition where speaker wires could fail. In the event of speaker failure, audible notifications (turn signal, seat belt warning, "lights on" warning, driver's door open, etc.) will cease to function. The loss of audible warnings increases the risk of getting involved in a crash, causing personal injuries or property damages. Correction: Dealers will download the latest software into the instrument cluster and test the directional indicators for an audible notification.
20082782008-08-07. Seats And Restraints. On certain vehicles, the rear safety belt D-ring assemblies may not rotate freely around the safety belt anchorage mounting bolt. In the event of a medium to high vehicle impact , the inability of D-ring to rotate may limit the performance of the rear safety belt system, causing personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect the rear safety belt system and repair accordingly.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
