Jaguar Land Rover North America would like to provide more information about the latest InControl® Touch Pro? software updates and advise retailers what supporting documentation is available to explain the technical content, installation guide, and any other relevant warranty and commercial information.

Certain Jaguar vehicles within the listed Affected Vehicle Range require an update to the infotainment software to make sure customers receive their new vehicles with the latest infotainment features and enhancements. This program does not apply to any vehicle already registered and in use, either with the retailer or customer. Any vehicle already in use may continue to be driven and any repair instructions deemed necessary will be communicated through a separate Field Action or Technical Bulletin.

SSM741312018-12-10. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Jaguar Land Rover released Pathfinder 195 on 11th October and Symptom Driven Diagnostics (SDD) 154.05 on 8th October. As part of our continued efforts in increasing our customer experience, the release contains the latest InControl software containing significant improvements and enhancements to the system and its stability. Please refer to the latest release notes on TOPIx to understand the fixes that are included within this release. You are reminded that the InControl Touch Pro/ Duo Infotainment Master Controller (IMC) and ISC software should not be updated unless related to a reported customer concern.
SSM723072018-12-10. Service bulletin. BACK OVER PREVENTION; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. The message "Radar Sensor Blocked" appears in instrument pack display. If blockage occurs while ACC is being used, ?Driver Intervene? and/or "Radar sensor blocked" message will appear on the cluster and DTC C1A67-97 is also set. Blockage can also occur when ACC is not being used.
SSM740962018-11-13. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. The retailer may notice that the passive start function does not work after the Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) has been completed using Pathfinder.
SSM740922018-11-13. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; ENGINE. The customer reports reduced performance with P0191-85 observed in the PCM. This may or may not also illuminate the MIL. DTCs P168F-00, P2178-00, or P144C-00 may be stored also.
SSM740342018-11-13. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT. While carrying out the Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) using Pathfinder it may be found that the passive start and lock/ unlock functionality using the key remote is not operating. The message ?Smart key not found? may also appear on the Instrument Cluster. In addition the Diagnostic Trouble Codes DTCs B1DDB-55 and B1DE4-55 are stored in the Body Control Module (BCM).
SSM740752018-11-13. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. After successfully updating the Gateway Control Module (GWM), the vehicle is left with no ignition and PATHFINDER will not be able to communicate with any module but the GWM.
SSM740542018-11-13. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. ?SOS Limited Availability? warning is displayed on the IC (Instrument Cluster along with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) U3000-49 logged in the TCU (Telematics Control Unit).
