Service bulletins for the 2017 Jaguar XE

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

614 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE: A potential issue has been identified on a limited number of vehicles within the listed Affected Vehicle Range which may experience low levels of coolant, which can trigger a low coolant level warning and eventually lead to engine overheat and failure if ignored.
K445NAS12017-08-10. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Situation: An issue has been identified on a limited number of vehicles within the listed Affected Vehicle Range which may experience low levels of coolant, which can trigger a low coolant level warning and eventually lead to engine overheat and failure if ignored.

K410NAS12017-08-10. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL. Situation: An issue has been identified on a limited number of vehicles within the listed Affected Vehicle Range where the evaporative emission canister hose may show signs of ozone cracking.
6-329NAS22017-08-10. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL. DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE: An issue has been identified on a limited number of vehicles within the listed Affected Vehicle Range where the evaporative emission canister hose may show signs of ozone cracking.
6-302NAS42017-08-10. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE:BELTS AND ASSOCIATED PULLEYS. DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE: An issue has been identified on a limited number of vehicles fitted with the 3.0L V6 Supercharged engine within the Affected Vehicle Range where the coolant hose from the thermostat housing may not have been fitted with a retention clip on the right-hand air cleaner. This may allow the hose to chafe against the engine accessory drive belt and lead to a possible loss of coolant. This program does not apply to any vehicle already registered and in use, either with the retailer or customer. Any vehicle already in use may continue to be driven and any repair instructions deemed necessary will be communicated through a separate Field Action or Technical Bulletin.
SSM730942017-08-10. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM. Issue: Excessive vibration of vehicle and exhaust system when stationary at idle and/or DTC P245B-84 (DTC will only be present on 2.0 Diesel engines).
K404 UPS4616-5bN2017-08-10. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE:BELTS AND ASSOCIATED PULLEYS. Situation: An issue has been identified on a limited number of vehicles fitted with the 3.0L SC V6 engine within the listed Affected Vehicle Range where the coolant hose from the thermostat housing may not have been fitted with a retention clip on the right-hand air cleaner. This may allow the hose to chafe against the engine accessory drive belt and lead to a possible loss of coolant.
JTB00423NAS22017-08-10. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Situation: A 'humming' noise may be evident from the engine when the engine is idling.
K410NAS22017-08-10. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL; ENGINE. Situation: An issue has been identified on a limited number of vehicles within the listed Affected Vehicle Range where the evaporative emission canister hose may show signs of ozone cracking.
K404UPS4616-4BNA2017-05-09. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:HOSES/LINES/PIPING/FITTINGS.
K404 UPS4616-2BN2017-04-19. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:HOSES/LINES/PIPING/FITTINGS. SITUATION: AN ISSUE HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED ON A LIMITED NUMBER OF VEHICLES FITTED WITH THE 3.0L SC V6 ENGINE WITHIN THE AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE WHERE THE COOLANT HOSE FROM THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING MAY NOT HAVE BEEN FITTED WITH A RETENTION CLIP ON THE RIGHT-HAND AIR CLEANER.
