Recalls that may apply to the 2015 International Lonestar
A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

| 15V329000 | 2015-05-29. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:MANIFOLD/HEADER/MUFFLER/TAIL PIPE. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 International 9900 trucks manufactured January 6, 2014, to March 12, 2015, and 2015-2016 International Lonestar trucks manufactured February 20, 2014, to March 13, 2015. The affected vehicles are equipped with a 6" diameter stack tail pipe, that may not have sufficient support. The unsupported weight of the upper stack tail pipe and vibration associated with normal vehicle operation over time may cause a crack of the weld joint between the inlet pipe and the flare expansion of the stack tail pipe, which may result in partial or full separation of the stack tail pipe from the vertical exhaust pipe. Built 2014-02-20 to 2015-03-13. |

| 15V241000 | 2015-04-22. VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM:FAN/MOTOR. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain model year 2011-2015 International DuraStar, ProStar, TranStar and WorkStar, 2012-2015 International TerraStar, 2013-2015 International LoneStar and IC Bus HC, and 2014-2015 IC Bus AC vehicles. A vehicle double battery jump start or electrical load dump event could result in an overvoltage condition of a component within the HVAC system linear power module (LPM) which is used to control the blower speed. The overvoltage condition could result in the overheating and failure of the LPM. Built 2011-11-18 to 2014-03-07. |
| 15V165000 | 2015-03-23. SERVICE BRAKES, AIR. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 International 9900, DuraStar, LoneStar, PayStar, ProStar, WorkStar and 2015 International TranStar and IC Bus CE vehicles equipped with a Haldex air braking system. The affected brake actuators may have been manufactured with an incomplete attachment of the internal rubber diaphragm to the actuation mechanism. This could cause dragging or overheated brakes. Built 2014-08-06 to 2015-02-23. |
| 14V688000 | 2014-10-31. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain model year 2010-2015 International Lonestar vehicles manufactured October 12, 2009, to June 16, 2014, and 2009-2015 International ProStar vehicles manufactured December 16, 2008, to June 20, 2014. In the affected vehicles the electrical harness that supplies power to the HVAC system may not be of sufficient size for the electrical load of the circuit. This can result in an increase in resistance and heating at the connectors. Built 2009-10-12 to 2014-06-16. |
| 2023293 | 2023-05-18. Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain trucks, the backup lamps could be blocked and may not be visible. As a result, the trucks don't meet the requirements of the Canadian regulations. Note: This recall only affects trucks equipped with a pintle hook lowering bracket and feature code 01WPN, 01 WPS, or 01VAL. Safety Risk: Backup lamps that aren't visible could cause a person not to recognize that the vehicle is backing and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Navistar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to install new tail stop/turn signal lamps with integrated backup lamps. |

| 2015214 | 2015-05-20. Structure. On certain vehicles, the weld joint between the upper stack tail pipe and the vertical exhaust pipe may crack and allow the exhaust pipe to separate from the vehicle. The pipe falling on the road surface could create a safety hazard potentially resulting in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the stack tail pipes with an approved replacement part. |
| 2015171 | 2015-04-22. Electrical. On certain vehicles, a double battery (24 volt) jump start or electrical load dump could result in an overvoltage condition of the linear power module (LPM) which is used to control the heater/air conditioning blower motor speed. If this were to occur, this overvoltage condition could lead to the LPM overheating, causing smoke, and increase the risk of fire, which could result in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the LPM with an upgraded design. |
| 2015120 | 2015-03-18. Brakes. On certain vehicles, brake chamber diaphragm(s) may not be properly seated. This could lead to brake drag, causing brake overheating or unintended spring brake application. These issues could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the brake chambers. Note: This is an expansion of recall 2014-573. |
| 2014573 | 2014-12-17. Brakes. On certain vehicles, brake chamber diaphragm(s) may not be properly seated. This could lead to brake drag, causing brake overheating or unintended spring brake application. These issues could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will affect repairs as necessary. |
| 2014484 | 2014-10-30. Heater And Defroster. On certain vehicles equipped with a no-idle heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) module, the electrical harness supplying power to the module may not be of sufficient size, which could cause a voltage drop in the harness and an increase in resistance and heating at the connector. This could cause a fire, potentially resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a revised harness. |
| 2014141 | 2014-04-22. Brakes. On certain vehicles equipped with air disc brakes, the brake caliper bolts may have been insufficiently tightened, or an insufficient number of bolts may have been installed at time of vehicle assembly. Loose or missing bolts could allow a caliper to detach from its mount, resulting in partial loss of brake function, which could increase stopping distance and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace missing bolts, if any, and tighten all caliper bolts to the specified torque. |
| 2014140 | 2014-04-22. Label. Certain trucks may not comply with Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations. Vehicles may not bear a compliance label, or the compliance label may be missing Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) information. This could result in vehicle overloading, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Owners will be sent a revised compliance label. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
