| 2023293 | 2023-05-18. Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain trucks, the backup lamps could be blocked and may not be visible. As a result, the trucks don't meet the requirements of the Canadian regulations. Note: This recall only affects trucks equipped with a pintle hook lowering bracket and feature code 01WPN, 01 WPS, or 01VAL. Safety Risk: Backup lamps that aren't visible could cause a person not to recognize that the vehicle is backing and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Navistar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to install new tail stop/turn signal lamps with integrated backup lamps. |

| 2004356 | 2004-09-28. Lights And Instruments. On certain vehicles, the left turn signal light and the indicator lights on the instrument panel may not illuminate during hazard operation. An incorrectly manufactured switch contact causes intermittent contact in the turn signal stalk assembly. This results in intermittent left turn signal and indicator light operation when the hazard switch is activated. Intermittent light operation reduces the ability to warn other motorists of the driver's intentions. This could cause a vehicle crash without warning that may result in property damage, personal injury, or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the turn signal stalk assembly. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
