10V2670002010-06-15. VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL. NAVISTAR IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2003 THROUGH 2010 INTERNATIONAL TRUCKS AND IC COMMERCIAL BUSES MANUFACTURED FROM DECEMBER 4, 2001 THROUGH DECEMBER 14, 2009 EQUIPPED WITH INTERNATIONAL VT365 ENGINES HAVING ENGINE CALIBRATION PAN2PVR0, PAN2PVR1, OR PAN2PWR. THE ENGINE NORMALLY RESPONDS TO A FAILED OPEN ACCELERATOR POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT FAULT BY RETURNING THE ENGINE TO LOW IDLE SPEED OF 800 RPM AND DISABLING THE DRIVER'S ABILITY TO INCREASE THE ENGINE SPEED. HOWEVER IF THE OPEN CIRCUIT CORRECTS ITSELF WITHIN 30 SECONDS OF INITIATION, ENGINE SPEED COULD SUDDENLY INCREASE TO A HIGH IDLE SPEED OF 1200 RPM. Built 2001-12-04 to 2009-12-14.
03V4140002003-10-22. SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:SUPPLY:COMPRESSOR. ON CERTAIN TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH V8 ENGINES AND AIR BRAKES OR AIR OPERATED PARK BRAKES, A STAND-OFF BRACKET WAS NOT INSTALLED. THE BRACKET SUPPORTS THE COPPER AIR COMPRESSOR DISCHARGE TUBE. NORMAL VEHICLE AND ENGINE VIBRATION CAN CAUSE THE UNSUPPORTED COPPER TUBE TO FAIL AT OR NEAR THE AIR COMPRESSOR CONNECTION. Built 2002-10-01 to 2003-09-15.
03V3170002003-08-27. SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:SUPPLY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS. CERTAIN HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 121, "AIR BRAKE SYSTEMS." THE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY AIR SUPPLY HOSES FROM THE FOOT VALVE TO THE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY AIR TANKS WERE IMPROPERLY ROUTED AT THE TANK. Built 2001-02-19 to 2003-07-22.
03V0240002003-01-28. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. CERTAIN SCHOOL BUSES AND HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS BUILT WITH HYDRAULIC BRAKES AND AN AIR POWERED PARKING BRAKE (BRAKE CODE 04GAS) FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 105, "HYDRAULIC AND ELECTRIC BRAKE SYSTEMS." THE HYDRAULIC BRAKE MONITOR MODULE WAS NOT INSTALLED ON CERTAIN VEHICLES. Built 2002-07-16 to 2003-01-14.
02V2600002002-09-20. PARKING BRAKE:CONVENTIONAL. ON CERTAIN MEDIUM AND HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS BUILT WITH DRIVELINE PARKING BRAKE CODES 04GAR, THE PARKING BRAKE ASSEMBLY MAY NOT HOLD THE VEHICLE IN POSITION WHEN SET. FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO THIS POSSIBILITY ARE AS FOLLOWS: (1) CRACKED OR BROKEN CAMS; (2) LOOSE OR BROKEN ANCHOR BOLTS; (3) INITIAL SHOE DIAMETER NOT SET PROPERLY DURING ASSEMBLY, WHICH CAN LEAD TO PROGRESSIVE COMPONENT DAMAGE; (4) BENT ADJUSTER LEVERS THAT CANNOT FUNCTION; OR (5) AUTOMATIC ADJUSTER CABLES THAT ARE DISCONNECTED. Built 2000-11-16 to 2002-04-19.
02V2040002002-07-26. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE. ON CERTAIN SCHOOL BUSES AND HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS BUILT WITH INTERNATIONAL VT365 ENGINES AND MANUFACTURED AT INTERNATIONAL DIESEL OF ALABAMA. THE INJECTOR DRIVER MODULES (IDM) BUILT FOR THE VT365 ENGINES COULD HAVE MISSING VIBRATION DAMPING/RETENTION SHELLS AND A MISSING HOT-MELT PROCESS ON THE DC/DC BOARDS. Built 2001-09-21 to 2002-06-26.
02V0950002002-03-22. STEERING:LINKAGES:DRAG:LINK:CONNECTION. ON CERTAIN TRUCKS, THE COTTER PIN THAT GOES THROUGH THE DRAG LINK BALL STUD AT THE CONNECTION TO THE PITMAN ARM IS MISSING. THIS PIN PREVENTS THE CASTLE NUT FROM LOOSENING. Built 2002-01-25 to 2002-01-31.

20102022010-06-15. Powertrain. On certain vehicles equipped with an INTERNATIONAL® VT365 engine, the engine calibration normally responds to a failed open accelerator position sensor circuit fault by returning the engine to low idle speed of 800 rpm and disabling the driver's ability to increase the engine speed. However, If the open circuit condition corrects itself within 30 seconds of its initiation the engine calibration misinterprets this event by going into a "limp home mode" where the engine speed is increased from low idle speed to the high idle speed of 1200 rpm. This increase to high idle speed may occur without warning causing a sudden and unexpected shift in vehicle position possibly resulting in property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install an updated engine calibration.
20032552003-10-22. Brakes. On certain vehicles, a stand-off bracket that supports the copper air compressor discharge tube was not installed. Normal vehicle and engine vibration can cause the unsupported copper tube to fail at or near the air compressor connection. A failed compressor discharge tube could deplete the air system and may cause the parking brakes to apply. Even though the air pressure gauge and low air pressure warning buzzer would give warning, this condition could cause the vehicle to slow down or stop unexpectedly and could cause a vehicle collision that may result in property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealer will inspect and repair with a new stand-off bracket as necessary.
20032002003-08-24. Brakes. On certain vehicles, the primary and secondary air supply hoses from the foot valve to the air tanks were reversed at the tanks. If the primary air circuit is damaged, the brakes will not apply when the brake pedal is depressed, potentially causing a vehicle crash without warning and possibly resulting in property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealer will inspect all suspect vehicles and repair incorrect air plumbing.
20021832002-10-09. Brakes. On certain vehicles, the parking brake assembly may not hold the vehicle in position when set. Factors contributing to this possibility are as follows: 1. Cracked or broken cams; 2. Loose or broken anchor bolts; 3. Initial shoe diameter not set properly during assembly, which can lead to progressive component damage; 4. Bent adjuster levers that cannot function; 5. Automatic adjuster cables that are disconnected. If this parking brake does not function properly, the vehicle may begin to roll, without warning, after the parking brake lever has been set and could cause an accident, possibly resulting in property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the cam, lever and bolt on all affected vehicles.
20021392002-07-25. Engine. Certain trucks equipped with VT365 engines may have defective Injector Driver Modules which could result in loss of power or stalling. Correction: Dealers will replace the module.
20020562002-03-22. Steering. On certain trucks the cotter pin that goes through the drag link ball stud at the connection to the pitman arm is missing. This pin prevents the castellated nut from loosening. If the nut loosens and comes completely off the drag link ball stud, the drag link could detach resulting in a loss of steering control. Correction: Dealers will inspect the vehicle and have a cotter pin installed if found to be missing.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
