THE BACKUP RETENTION ROLL PIN BETWEEN THE UPPER STEERING SHAFT AND THE TILT STEERING COLUMN U-JOINT MAY HAVE BEEN OMITTED DURING ASSEMBLY. WITHOUT THE ROLL PIN THERE IS THE RISK THAT THE UPPER STEERING SHAFT AND U-JOINT ASSEMBLY COULD SEPARATE AND RESULT IN SUDDEN LOSS OF STEERING. CORRECTION: VEHICLES WILL BE INSPECTED AND STEERING COLUMNS WITH NO ROLL PIN WILL BE REPLACED. |
