19990251999-02-22. Steering. On certain vehicles, the tie rod end can pull outboard and separate from the tie rod tube due to improper thread engagement between the male tie rod end and the female tube. A separation of the tie rod end could result in loss of steering control and a possible crash. Correction: The complete tie rod assembly will be replaced on involved vehicles.
19971531997-09-09. Engine. THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD MATERIAL IS EXCESSIVELY BRITTLE AND MAY BREAK DURING A HARD FULL THROTTLE APPLICATION. SHOULD THE ROD BREAK, THE ENGINE WOULD RETURN TO IDLE. THIS COULD RESULT IN AN INABILITY TO PROPERLY ACCELERATE THE VEHICLE IN A CIRCUMSTANCE WHICH COULD CAUSE A VEHICULAR ACCIDENT WITHOUT WARNING. CORRECTION: ACCELERATOR RODS ON AFFECTED VEHICLES WILL BE REPLACED WITH NEW RODS.
19971091997-06-06. Brakes. THE CAM LEVER ON THE POWERED APPLY BRAKE CAN MOVE FORWARD BECAUSE OF A HOLE IN THE TRANSMISSION MOUNTING BOSS WAS DRILLED TOO DEEP, ALLOWING THE CAM LEVER TO BECOME DISENGAGED FROM THE PARKING BRAKE SHOES. SHOULD THIS OCCUR, THE DRIVER WOULD HAVE NO WARNING THAT THE PARKING BRAKE WAS NOT APPLIED. THIS COULD RESULT IN VEHICLE ROLL AWAY AND A POSSIBLE ACCIDENT. CORRECTION: SHIMS WILL BE INSTALLED IN THE DRILLED AREA OF THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION PARK BRAKE PIVOT PIN HOLE.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
