| 1999025 | 1999-02-22. Steering. On certain vehicles, the tie rod end can pull outboard and separate from the tie rod tube due to improper thread engagement between the male tie rod end and the female tube. A separation of the tie rod end could result in loss of steering control and a possible crash. Correction: The complete tie rod assembly will be replaced on involved vehicles. |

| 1998117 | 1998-06-04. Powertrain. THE DOUBLE NEUTRAL SHIFT CONTROL LEVER MAY BIND AS THE DRIVER ATTEMPTS TO PUT THE LEVER IN THE PARK POSITION. IF THIS OCCURS THE LEVER DOES NOT ACTUALLY REACH THE FULL PARK POSITION WHICH COULD RESULT IN A FALSE PARK CONDITION. THIS COULD RESULT IN THE VEHICLE ROLLING IF PARKED ON AN INCLINE. CORRECTION: THE DOUBLE SHIFT CONTROL WILL BE REPLACED WITH A REDESIGNED SHIFT CONTROL AND A FINAL ADJUSTMENT WILL BE MADE TO THE CABLE AFTER THE NEW SHIFT CONTROL IS INSTALLED. |
| 1997109 | 1997-06-06. Brakes. THE CAM LEVER ON THE POWERED APPLY BRAKE CAN MOVE FORWARD BECAUSE OF A HOLE IN THE TRANSMISSION MOUNTING BOSS WAS DRILLED TOO DEEP, ALLOWING THE CAM LEVER TO BECOME DISENGAGED FROM THE PARKING BRAKE SHOES. SHOULD THIS OCCUR, THE DRIVER WOULD HAVE NO WARNING THAT THE PARKING BRAKE WAS NOT APPLIED. THIS COULD RESULT IN VEHICLE ROLL AWAY AND A POSSIBLE ACCIDENT. CORRECTION: SHIMS WILL BE INSTALLED IN THE DRILLED AREA OF THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION PARK BRAKE PIVOT PIN HOLE. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
