IF YOU CONFIRM: One or more of the following with the engine idling, the transmission in Drive, and the air conditioning on: - Low/rough idle - High idle - Idle fluctuation ACTION: 1. Compare the vehicle?s current ECM part number to those listed in Table A (see page 4). 2. If the ECM part number matches one listed in Table A, reprogram the ECM. - If there is NOT an ECM part number match, this bulletin does not apply. ITB140552021-05-10. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. SERVICE INFORMATION If a customer describes lack of power or poor acceleration, perform the following checks before attempting any repair: * Check for stored DTCs. * Check if the driver is resting their left foot on the brake pedal while accelerating. Advise the customer not to rest their foot on the brake while accelerating. * Use CONSULT-III plus in Engine Data Monitor to check operation of the brake lamp circuit signal. Monitor the brake switch during the incident; it should be "OFF". Please see this bulletn for further details.

SERVICE INFORMATION The purpose of this bulletin is to clarify language contained in the owner?s manual language for the APPLIED VEHICLES. For the APPLIED VEHICLES, the below language supersedes similar language in existing owner?s manuals. Future printings of owner?s manuals for the APPLIED VEHICLES will also contain the below language. For the APPLIED VEHICLES: INFINITI recommends using Genuine NISSAN NS-3 CVT Fluid ONLY in INFINITI CVTs. Do not mix with other fluids. Do not use Automatic transmission fluid (ATF) or Manual Transmission fluid in an INFINITI CVT, as it may damage the CVT. Damage caused by the use of fluids other than as recommended is not covered under INFINITI's New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Using fluids that are not equivalent to Genuine NISSAN NS-3 CVT Fluid may also damage the CVT. PC284A2021-05-10. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:INTERNAL:CVT; EQUIPMENT. As a result of delayed retail delivery reporting and some other factors, some retailers received CVTs they do not need. The attached excel file shows the CVTs that were shipped and also include the retailer inventory on 5/23/14 for reference.

Infiniti may review CONSULT-III plus (CIII plus) data relating to vehicle operation and function to help with vehicle diagnosis and diagnostic validation. IMPORTANT: For transmission/engine repair or replacement, retailers are required to connect C-III plus and perform ?Diagnosis (All Systems)?. Performing C-III plus ?Diagnosis (All Systems)? is also required prior to contacting any Infiniti call center (i.e. TECH-LINE, PCC, or WCC) for diagnostic support or claim preauthorization. NOTE: For additional information regarding Automated Vehicle Data Collection, refer to IWBI/18-019. To support Automated Vehicle Data Collection, your C-III plus must have the Diagnosis result reporting function-Setting turned ON. If Diagnosis result reporting function-Setting is OFF: - It may cause dealer consideration for Audit or the Anomalous Repair Control (ARC) program, where applicable. - It may result in a repair being non-warrantable. Refer to the Service Procedure on the next page to confirm your C-III plus ?Diagnosis result reporting function-Setting? is turned ON.

CVT Software Update/Warranty Extension Parts Update 2 ***** Parts Update ***** Campaign Bulletin ITB16-048 has been revised to address a part change (in the event that parts are needed) and is now available on NNAnet & ASIST. o Valve Body Kit (3170E29X9C) will now include the Control Valve Assembly, Automatic Transmission Oil Strainer Assembly, Bracket, Band, Oil Pan Gasket, and Lip Seal. o The control valve assembly is only available in kit form, but the oil strainer assembly, bracket, band, oil pan gasket and lip seal will remain available for purchase separately The previously announced restriction on remanufactured CVT assemblies will be lifted on March 24, 2017. Parts will be available for order via normal process after that date. Orders placed via DCS prior to that date will be filled.
