The following CONSULT-III plus (C-III plus) figures and steps are only provided to indicate where the VEHICLE REFERENCE VALUE from Table A is to be entered. MIL ON WITH DTC P0087, P0101, P0448, OR P2008 IF YOU CONFIRM An applied vehicle has one or more DTCs stored, shown in Table A on page 2, AND The ECM part number is shown in Table B, starting on page 3. ACTION 1. First perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure for the stored DTC to repair the vehicle according to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM). 2. Reprogram the ECM after performing the diagnosis and repair. • -The ECM reprogram in this Service Procedure is not a repair for the DTC, but instead updates the way the permanent DTC is stored and allowed to be erased. The DTC must be properly diagnosed and repaired before the reprogram is applied.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. 2018 Q50; TPMS LIGHT ON WITH DTC STORED IF YOU CONFIRM The Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) light is ON with one or more of the following DTCs stored: C1708 – [NO DATA] FL C1709 – [NO DATA] FR C1710 – [NO DATA] RR C1711 – [NO DATA] RL ACTION 1. Verify that the TPMS sensor associated with the stored DTC(s) is transmitting a signal with the Signal Tech II. 2. If transmitting, clear TPMS DTCs, turn the HVAC to maximum cool, and then road test the vehicle (see the specific conditions under steps 20 and 21 on page 6). 3. If a DTC is stored during the road test, replace the HVAC blower motor.
