By component
| 05V555000 | 2005-12-13. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. ON CERTAIN PASSENGER AND SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES, THE FUEL FILLER HOSE MAY CRACK AND RESULT IN FUEL LEAKAGE FROM THE HOSE WHILE REFUELING. Built 2001-11-09 to 2003-10-09. |
|---|---|
| 03V455000 | 2003-11-17. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE CIRCUIT BOARD FOR THE CRANK POSITION SENSOR OR CAM POSITION SENSOR MAY HAVE AN IMPROPER SOLDER JOINT DUE TO SOLDER DEFORMATION CAUSED BY HEAT STRESS ACCELERATED BY THE EXISTENCE OF FLUX RESIDUE DURING THE SOLDERING PROCESS. Built 2002-01-01 to 2002-06-30. |
| 03V200000 | 2003-06-02. EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE LIGHTS:SWITCH. ON CERTAIN SEDAN AND COUPE MODEL VEHICLES, THE BRAKE STOP LAMP SWITCH MAY MALFUNCTION. Built 2002-08-21 to 2003-03-05. |
| 02V331000 | 2002-12-12. EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS. CERTAIN SEDANS FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT." IN THE ASSEMBLY OF THE HEADLAMPS, IT IS NECESSARY TO HAVE A MEANS TO ADJUST THE HEADLAMPS. TAMPERPROOF CAPS TO PREVENT HORIZONTAL ADJUSTMENT OF THE HEADLAMPS ARE THEN INSTALLED. SOME OF THESE VEHICLES ARE MISSING THE TAMPERPROOF CAPS. |
| 02V245000 | 2002-09-12. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS. ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE FUEL HOSE CONNECTION FOR THE OUTLET OF THE FUEL PUMP WHICH IS LOCATED AT THE TOP OF THE FUEL TANK MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PROPERLY ATTACHED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS ASSEMBLED AND COULD COME LOOSE WHILE DRIVING OR WHEN STARTING THE ENGINE. Built 2002-01-09 to 2002-07-24. |
| 2005376 | 2005-11-29. Fuel System. On certain vehicles, the fuel filler hose may crack from exposure to ozone. This could cause fuel leakage from the hose while refuelling and the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) to illuminate as a result of the onboard diagnostic system detecting a leak in the evaporative emission control system. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel filler hose. |
|---|---|
| 2003267 | 2003-11-05. Engine. On certain vehicles, the circuit board for the crank position sensor may have an improper solder joint. This could cause the Service Engine Soon warning light to come on, create a no start condition, cause reduced engine power, or cause the engine to stop running without warning during vehicle operation. Correction: Dealers will replace the crankshaft position sensor and both camshaft position sensors. |
| 2003143 | 2003-05-29. Electrical. On certain vehicles, the contact points for the stop lamp switch may oxidize. This can eventually result in a loss of continuity, causing the stop lamps to not illuminate when the brake is applied. Correction: Dealer will replace the stop lamp switch. |
| 2002238 | 2002-12-13. Lights And Instruments. On certain vehicles, tamperproof caps to prevent horizontal adjustment of the headlamps were omitted. As a result, these vehicles do not meet CMVSS 108. Correction: Dealer will install tamperproof caps over the horizontal adjustment screw for both headlamps. |
| 2002160 | 2002-09-10. Fuel System. On certain vehicles, the fuel hose connection for the outlet of the fuel pump, which is located at the top of the fuel tank, may not have been fully seated when the vehicle was produced. If the connection comes loose, the engine will stop running due to lack of fuel. In addition, some fuel will discharge from the loose connector until the engine stops running or if an attempt is made to restart the engine. Correction: The connector for the outlet hose of the fuel pump will be inspected by the dealer to ensure it is properly secured. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
