15V0540002015-02-02. STEERING:COLUMN. Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2008 Infiniti EX35 vehicles equipped with the power tilt/telescope option included in the premium package, manufactured June 29, 2007, to April 25, 2008, 2009 Infiniti FX35 and FX45 vehicles manufactured October 31, 2007, to April 16, 2008, and 2009 Nissan GT-R vehicles manufactured March 14, 2007, to April 25, 2008. The steering column outer tube may not be round, resulting in extra stress being applied to the upper steering bearing. This stress may cause the bearing retainer to fracture, creating extra play in the steering wheel or a possible loss of steering. Built 2007-06-29 to 2008-04-25.
08V5210002008-10-07. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; AIR BAGS. NISSAN IS RECALLING 204,361 MY 2007-2008 ALTIMA, ALTIMA HYBRID, 350Z, 350Z ROADSTER, MY 2008 ALTIMA COUPE, ROGUE, MY 2009 MURANO, AND INFINITI MY 2007-2008 G35 SEDAN, MY 2008 G37 COUPE AND EX35 PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH CONTINENTAL AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS' OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (OCS) CONTROL UNITS. A VARISTOR IN THE OCS CONTROL UNIT LOCATED IN THE PASSENGER SEAT CUSHION MAY HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED OUT OF SPECIFICATION. UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, THIS COULD CAUSE AN INTERRUPTION OF SIGNAL BETWEEN THE OCS AND THE AIR BAG CONTROL UNIT (ACU). Built 2007-11-05 to 2008-11-14.
08V0660002008-02-12. AIR BAGS. NISSAN IS RECALLING 16,365 MY 2008 INFINITI EX35 AND MY 2009 NISSAN MURANO VEHICLES. DUE TO INCORRECT SOFTWARE PROGRAMMING, THE AIR BAG CONTROL UNIT (ACU) MAY CAUSE THE PASSENGER AIR BAG NOT TO OPERATE AS DESIGNED IF THE VEHICLE BATTERY BECOMES SIGNIFICANTLY DISCHARGED. Built to 2008-01-24.

20150602015-02-11. Steering. On certain vehicles, the steering column upper bearing retainer may fail due to a manufacturing defect. if this occurs, the upper bearing may experience additional stress causing excessive play in the steering wheel. This could result in vehicle instability and increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace steering shaft on EX35/FX35/45 and replace steering column assembly on GT-R.
20103832010-11-03. Lights And Instruments. On certain vehicles, the filament in the bulb of the Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) may burn out due to a shorter lifespan than expected. A loss of DRL illumination could render the vehicle less visible to other motorists and to pedestrians during daylight hours, possibly resulting in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the Daytime Running Lamp bulbs with a longer life type bulb.
20083632008-10-06. Other. On certain vehicles, a varistor in the Occupant Classification System (OCS) control unit located in the passenger seat cushion may have been manufactured incorrectly. Under certain conditions, this could cause an interruption of signal between the OCS and the Airbag control unit (ACU). This could result in the passenger airbag being suppressed. The (red) supplemental airbag warning light would flash & the (amber) front passenger airbag status light would illuminate to alert the vehicle operator, however in case of a crash a suppressed airbag could result in personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will test the signal between the OCS & ACU and if necessary will replace the seat cushion containing OCS hardware.
20080502008-02-13. Airbag. If the vehicle battery becomes significantly discharged and the voltage in the electrical system drops (because, for example, the ignition is left in the "ON" position for a significant length of time without the engine running), the Airbag Control unit (ACU) is designed to suppress the passenger airbag and illuminate the passenger airbag status light. When the battery recharges and correct voltage is restored, the ACU is designed to reactivate the passenger airbag system. On certain vehicles, incorrect software programming may not allow the ACU to reactivate the airbag as intended. This can result in the passenger airbag being suppressed without lighting the warning indicator and the airbag status light. Failure of the airbag to inflate during a crash could increase the passenger seat occupant's risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the ACU.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
