| 2024080 | 2024-02-08. Brakes. Issue: On certain vehicles, brake fluid could leak into the control module for the antilock brake system (ABS) and cause it to short circuit. Note: This recall replaces recall R0246 (Transport Canada recall number 2023-527). For the Sonata model, only the Sonata Hybrid model is affected by this recall. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuse for the ABS module. Hyundai recommends that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed. |

| 2015516 | 2015-10-29. Brakes. Certain vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 135 - Brake Systems. If an ABS malfunction occurs during vehicle operation, the ABS warning lamp may fail to illuminate, contrary to the requirements of the standard. This could allow an ABS malfunction to go undetected by the driver, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will update ABS control software. |
| 2014259 | 2014-06-27. Brakes. On certain vehicles, the front brake calipers may have been manufactured incorrectly and could fracture. This would result in a reduction in braking effectiveness and an increase in braking distances, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the front brake calipers. Note: All affected vehicles have been captured at the dealers for the corrective action to be performed before being sold to customers. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
