Service bulletins for the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

129 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

25-01-064H TSB2025-10-01. Service campaign. ENGINE. Certain Santa Fe Plug-in Hybrid (TM PHEV) and Tucson Plug-in Hybrid (NX4 PHEV) vehicles may exhibit a restricted coolant flow condition, which may be accompanied by a warning message (e.g., Coolant Supplement, Refill Inverter Coolant) in the cluster. No related DTCs are stored, and coolant level is normal in the reservoir tank. The coolant flow may be restricted by debris, causing abnormally high Electric Water Pump (EWP) speed. This TSB contains instructions for confirming high RPMs in the EWP, then using the Coolant Flushing Equipment Set to flush and clean debris from the various cooling system circuits. The coolant will be replaced with the updated Electric Vehicle Battery System Coolant (BSC-2) low-conductivity blue coolant.

The existing blue coolant, Electric Vehicle Battery System Coolant (BSC-2), will be used to flush the system. Then the coolant will be replaced with new pink coolant (LLC-10).
25-01-045H TSB2025-07-15. Service campaign. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. A software update is available for multiple vehicles equipped with either Display Audio 2.0V or the AVN 5th Gen Wide system.
25-01-024H-1 TSB2025-05-27. Service campaign. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some vehicles may exhibit a loss of connectivity or interruptions in the middle of using Bluelink Service functions. This may be due to an irregular disconnection on Verizon’s communication network. Follow the procedure in this TSB to reestablish the connection via the AVN pinhole reset method.

24-01-009H-12024-06-04. Service campaign. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. A class settlement against Hyundai Motor America (“HMA”) that had alleged that certain 2011 – 2022 model year Hyundai vehicles that were not equipped with an engine immobilizer (called the “Class Vehicles”) contain design flaws, including the failure to manufacture the Class Vehicles with an anti-theft device called an engine immobilizer, that make them susceptible to theft and damage. Class Vehicles manufactured without an engine immobilizer have traditional “turn-key-to-start” ignition systems.
