21V9440002021-12-07. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:CHARGING:MODULE:ONBOARD (OBCM); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Ioniq electric vehicles. An unstable electrical ground may cause the vehicle to enter a fail-safe mode with reduced acceleration and power. In certain conditions while in fail-safe mode, the vehicle may accelerate after the gas pedal is released.
18V7040002018-10-05. HYBRID PROPULSION SYSTEM: INVERTER. Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid and 2018 Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid vehicles. The Main Relay within the Power Relay Assembly (PRA) may have inadequate connections between its contacts, causing increased electrical resistance. Built 2016-11-16 to 2017-08-16.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
20217352021-12-07. Powertrain. Issue: On certain Ioniq EV models, the vehicle could accelerate after the accelerator pedal is released. Note: This problem can only happen under certain conditions after the vehicle enters "fail-safe" mode. Safety Risk: A vehicle that continues to accelerate could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and instruct you bring your vehicle to a dealer to update the electric power control unit (EPCU) software. The dealer will also add additional ground wiring between the drive motor/gear assembly and frame.
20185622018-10-12. Electrical. On certain Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) vehicles, the main relay contacts in the Power Relay Assembly located underneath the rear seat may have an inadequate connection. This could increase electrical resistance and generate heat, increasing the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the Power Relay Assembly for signs of thermal damage. If no thermal damage is found, the main relay will be replaced. If signs of thermal damage exist, the Power Relay Assembly will be replaced. Note: This problem may cause the Illumination of the HEV warning light while driving and/or an inability to start the vehicle.
20180322018-01-16. Label. Certain Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) vehicles may not comply with Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations. The compliance label may bear incorrect front and rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) values. If the vehicle were to be loaded in excess of either GAWR value, it could lead to premature tire failure and/or vehicle overloading, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Hyundai will send a corrected GAWR label to current owners with instructions for proper placement. If owners are not comfortable installing the label themselves, they can take the label to a Hyundai dealer for installation.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
