| 21V627000 | 2021-08-10. STRUCTURE:MOTORCYCLE:FAIRING/COWLING/WINDSCREEN:MOUNTING FASTENERS/HARDWARE; SUSPENSION:REAR:MOTORCYCLE FORK/SWINGARM. KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) is recalling certain 2018-2020 Husqvarna Motorcycle 701 Vitpilen and 2019-2020 701 Svartpilen motorcycles. The gear teeth on the license plate holder and swingarm may be positioned incorrectly, possibly resulting in a loose rear axle nut, causing the license plate holder to contact the rear wheel. |

| 2021379 | 2021-06-17. Structure. Issue: On certain motorcycles, the license plate bracket / rear fender may not be properly aligned. As a result, the rear axle nut could loosen. If this happens, the license plate bracket / rear fender could move and contact the rear wheel. This could affect handling and control of the motorcycle. Safety Risk: A license plate bracket / rear fender that contacts the rear wheel could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Husqvarna will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to ensure that the license plate bracket / rear fender is properly aligned to the swingarm. The dealer will also verify that the rear axle nut is properly tightened. |
