Service bulletins for the 2020 Honda Pilot

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

149 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

A23-0232023-04-22. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:STARTER ASSEMBLY; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Service Bulletin - The engine will not crank on initial startup after precipitation and sub-freezing temperatures. Water can enter the starter motor, and when temperatures drop below freezing, the water will freeze inside the starter motor. This will prevent the starter from cranking the engine.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
