Service bulletins for the 2016 Honda Odyssey

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

131 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

A16-0742017-05-23. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY:DOOR; LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES:DOORS:LATCH; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING. SERVICE BULLETIN - THE POWER SLIDING DOOR BEEPER SOUNDS WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION EVEN THOUGH THE SLIDING DOORS ARE FULLY LATCHED. A BAD CRIMP IN THE SLIDING DOOR REAR LATCH SWITCH WIRE HARNESS CONNECTOR CAUSES RESISTANCE FLUCTUATIONS. THESE FLUCTUATIONS CAN INTERFERE WITH THE POWER SLIDING DOOR CONTROL UNIT, CAUSING THE BEEPER TO SOUND WHEN THE DOORS ARE ACTUALLY FULLY CLOSED AND LATCHED. THIS ISSUE CAN BE INTERMITTENT AND DIFFICULT TO REPRODUCE.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
