20V0260002020-01-17. AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:DRIVER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE. Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 1998 Acura 2.2CL, 1998-1999 Acura 2.3CL, 1998-1999 Acura 3.0CL, 2001 Acura 3.2CL and Acura MDX, 1998-2000 Honda Accord Coupe, Accord Sedan, Civic Sedan, Odyssey and Acura 3.5RL, 1999-2000 Acura 3.2TL, 1996-2000 Civic Coupe, 1997-2000 CR-V, 1997-1998 EV Plus, and 1998-1999 Isuzu Oasis vehicles. These vehicles were equipped with Non-Azide Driver air bag Inflators (NADI) and do not contain phase stabilized ammonium nitrate (PSAN) propellant. Due to a manufacturing issue, the NADI inflators may absorb moisture, causing the inflators to rupture or the air bag cushion to underinflate.
96V1060001996-06-18. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:POWER ASSIST:VACUUM:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS. A SOAPY LUBRICANT WAS USED TO INSERT THE CHECK VALVE INTO THE VACUUM HOSE WHICH CAUSES THE BRAKE BOOSTER CHECK VALVE TO STICK. Built 1995-08-01 to 1996-05-01.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
20200142020-01-17. Airbag. Issue: On certain vehicles, exposure to moisture over time could cause the driver-front airbag not to inflate properly in a crash. In some cases, this could cause an airbag not to fully inflate, while in others it could cause it to deploy with more force than normal. It could also cause the inflator to rupture. If the airbag inflator ruptures, small pieces of metal could be propelled toward vehicle occupants or cause damage to the airbag and prevent its proper function. Safety Risk: In a crash requiring an airbag deployment, the driver-front airbag may not inflate properly or the inflator could rupture. This could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. There may be a significant delay before replacement parts are available. The company will send you a second letter once replacement parts are available and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the driver-front airbag inflator. If the inflator requires replacement, a newly design part will be installed.
19971811997-10-20. Seats And Restraints. On certaint vehicles, the passenger airbag modules may have been improperly assembled. The cloth flap covering the folded airbag may have been tucked in too far. This could prevent proper deployment of the airbag, thereby increasing the risk of injury to the passenger in the event of a collision. Correction: passenger airbag module will be repaired.
19960901996-06-13. Brakes. On certain vehicles, the brake booster check valve were assembled into the brake booster vacuum hose using a soapy lubricant. This soapy lubricant may eventually cause the check valve to stick which could result in loss of the brake's power assist. Correction: The master power check valve hose will be cleaned by washing the hose with hot water.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
