Service bulletins for the 1995 GMC Yukon
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| CAMP/95C36 | 1995-11-01. Service bulletin. SEAT BELTS:FRONT:ANCHORAGE. GENERAL MOTORS HAS DETERMINED THAT CERTAIN 1995 4 WHEEL DRIVE 2-DOOR K TRUCKS FAIL TO CONFORM TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD (FMVSS) 210, SEAT BELT ANCHORAGES. THESE VEHICLES WERE ASSEMBLED WITH THE CENTER REAR-SEAT BELT IMPROPERLY ROUTED. THE CENTER REAR-SEAT LAP BELT MAY HAVE BEEN ROUTED OVER THE SEAT FRAME RATHER THAN UP THROUGH THE HOLE IN THE LOWER CUSHION. IN THE EVENT OF A VEHICLE CRASH, THE OCCUPANT OF THIS SEAT MAY NOT BE PROPERLY RESTRAINED. TO CORRECT THIS CONDITION, RE-ROUTING OF THE REAR-SEAT LAP BELT IS NECESSARY. INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS RE-ROUTING WILL BE SENT TO ALL VEHICLE OWNERS. *TW |
