PIP5489B2018-03-12. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. This Preliminary information communicates to dealer technicians that snow and ice build up is possible if the air filter box is not properly sealed. Aftermarket bumpers may also allow water intrusion.
PIT5412C2018-02-21. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE; EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS; EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS:SWITCH. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have either the truck or the snowplow's headlights are flickering or inoperative. There may be a diagnostic trouble code B2575 and or a B2699 set in the body control module. Technician will need to contact the snowplow manufacturer for additional information on their headlight changeover system. Technician is to refer to the latest version of the General Motors up-fitter integration bulletin 116 for additional information these circuits. PIT5576A2018-01-16. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY:HOOD:HINGE AND ATTACHMENTS; STRUCTURE:BODY:HOOD. This Preliminary information communicates and issue with the hood ajar message being displayed when the hood is not ajar. Inspect the body ground strap to insure it is connected in the proper locations and the strap eyelets are tight and do not rotate.
PIT5341C2018-01-16. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY:DOOR. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about owners that want the auto door lock disabled. There is no avalible setting or Body Control Module calibration to turn off the auto door locks.
PIT4250H2017-12-14. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have water or dust from the openings under the bed rails near the stake pockets. Dealer should communicate to the customer this condition is a normal operating characteristic of their vehicle.
PIP5395C2017-11-14. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; STRUCTURE. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician on how to diagnose and repair vehicles that may have rattle or ticking noise that is louder inside the vehicle than outside. The noise may also sound like a lifter tick. If the noise is heard best at the fuel line and the sound will be real loud with a stethoscope. The fuel line will need to be replaced.
PIT5570A2017-11-14. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; STRUCTURE:BODY:TAILGATE. This Preliminary Information communication provides the technician with weight capacity for the tailgate and cargo loops in the bed.
