21V2130002021-03-25. STEERING:ELECTRIC POWER ASSIST SYSTEM. General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon vehicles. The power steering assist may be lost due to a poor electrical connection within the steering gear assembly.
18V3580002018-05-31. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2018 GMC Canyon, 2016-2017 Buick Envision, 2016-2018 Chevrolet Colorado and Malibu, 2017-2018 GMC Acadia, 2018 Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac ATS, Chevrolet Equinox, and GMC Terrain vehicles. 17V6210002017-10-05. AIR BAGS:FRONTAL. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2016 GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado, and 2016 Chevrolet Volt vehicles. The driver's frontal air bag may improperly inflate during second-stage deployment in the event of a high speed crash. Built 2014-10-13 to 2015-08-02.
16V0540002016-02-01. STEERING:ELECTRIC POWER ASSIST SYSTEM. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Chevrolet Colorado vehicles manufactured January 6, 2015, to March 17, 2015, and 2015 GMC Canyon vehicles manufactured January 6, 2015, to March 19, 2015. A poor electrical connection within the steering gear connector may cause a loss of power steering assist. Built 2015-01-06 to 2015-03-19.
15V2780002015-05-12. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:DISC:CALIPER. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, and GMC Canyon trucks manufactured January 6, 2014, to December 24, 2014. The affected vehicles may experience the front brake calipers leaking brake fluid. This is due to air pockets, an imperfection in the metal caliper body. Built 2014-01-06 to 2014-12-24.
15V2670002015-05-08. SEATS. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon trucks manufactured January 6, 2014, to April 1, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the hooks that secure the driver's and/or front passenger's seat frame may not have been properly attached to the vehicle body during assembly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, "Seating Systems." Built 2014-01-06 to 2015-04-01.
15V1570002015-03-18. AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:DRIVER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Chevrolet Colorado vehicles manufactured September 15, 2014, to January 21, 2015, and 2015 GMC Canyon vehicles manufactured October 3, 2014, to December 9, 2014. The affected vehicles have a front driver air bag inflator that may be misaligned to the air bag module backplate. This can cause the inflator to separate from the backplate during a deployment. Built 2014-10-03 to 2014-12-09.
14V6450002014-10-09. AIR BAGS. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon vehicles manufactured January 6, 2014, to October 1, 2014. In the affected vehicles, the driver air bag connections may have been wired incorrectly. This could reverse the deployment sequence and disrupt the deployment timing of the driver air bag. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." Built 2014-01-06 to 2014-10-01.

20211812021-03-25. Steering. Issue: On certain trucks, a poor electrical connection could cause a sudden loss of power steering assist. Note: This recall does not include vehicles that were repaired under Transport Canada Recall 2016-043. Safety risk: A loss of power steering assist may result in a sudden increase in steering effort, especially at low vehicle speeds. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to replace the steering gear torque sensor cover assembly.
20160432016-01-28. Steering. Certain vehicles may experience a sudden loss of electric power steering assist due to a poor electrical connection within the torque-sensor harness connector. Steering control can be maintained, as the vehicle will revert to a manual steering mode, but will require greater driver effort. The sudden change in steering may increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace steering gear pinion sensor cover assembly. Note: If the power steering assist is lost, a message is displayed on the Driver Information Centre and a chime sounds to inform the driver.
20151922015-05-11. Brakes. On certain vehicles, the front brake calipers could leak brake fluid. This could cause longer brake pedal travel and increased stopping distances, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and if necessary replace the front brake calipers.
20151852015-05-06. Seats And Restraints. Certain vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 207 – Anchorage of Seats. Certain seat-frame attachment hooks that secure the front driver and/or front passenger's seat may not have been properly attached to the vehicle body during the assembly process. If this condition were present, the seat could fail to meet the requirements of the standard. This could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Correction: Dealers will inspect seats for proper installation, and if required, disassemble and properly reassemble the seats.
20151212015-03-18. Airbag. On certain vehicles, the front driver airbag inflator may separate from the airbag-module backplate during a deployment due to a misalignment during assembly. In a crash, this may cause airbag components to separate from the steering wheel, which could allow fragments to be propelled toward vehicle occupants, increasing the risk of injury. Failure of the driver airbag to fully deploy during a crash (where deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of personal injury to the seat occupant. Correction: Dealers will remove the driver airbag module and inspect the inflator to module housing backplate for proper alignment. The airbag will be replaced if it is found to be misaligned.
20144512014-10-15. Airbag. Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 208 - Occupant Protection. During the manufacturing process, the driver's airbag connection may have been wired incorrectly. This would affect the vehicles' two-stage airbag system by reversing the deployment sequence and disrupting the deployment timing of the driver airbag stages. This could result in the driver airbags to not function as designed, which could increase the potential for injury to the seat occupant in a crash. Correction: Dealers are to reprogram the inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module (SDM).
