Service bulletins for the 2024 Genesis GV70

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

64 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

24-EV-002G2024-04-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. If you are servicing a vehicle with a missing or damaged insulation cap from the EV Charging Port follow the information in this TSB to replace any missing/damaged insulation cap(s) on certain 2023-24MY GV60 (JW1 EV), G80 Electrified (RG3 EV) and GV70 Electrified (JK1a EV) vehicles. The charging insulation caps are important to ensure proper charger connector orientation and fit to the vehicle charge port.
24-BD-002G2024-03-05. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. This bulletin provides instructions to inspect and realign the panoramic sunroof on certain GV70 (JK1A) and GV70 Electrified (JK1A EV) vehicles to reduce excessive wind noise conditions. This bulletin only applies if the excessive wind noise condition has been isolated to the panoramic sunroof.
24-BE-003G2024-02-05. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING. This bulletin provides information on the Integrated LED Control Unit (ILCU) which is now available as a separate service part from the head lamp assembly for certain G70 (IK), GV70 (JK1), GV70 Electrified (JK1a EV), and GV80 (JX1) vehicles. For G70 (IK) vehicles, the ILCU is called LED Drive Module (LDM). In cases where the head lamp assembly needs replacement due to exterior damage such as a cracked lens, broken housing, etc., it is recommended to replace the head lamp sub-assembly only (not the entire head lamp assembly) and reuse the existing ILCU or LDM if no problem is found with it.
23-DS-004G-12024-02-05. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Certain GV70 (JK1 and JK1A), GV80 (JX1) and G80 (RG3) vehicles may have a noise condition from the rear differential at certain speeds while accelerating or decelerating. This bulletin describes the procedure to inspect the vehicle for noise and if necessary to tighten the lock nut or if necessary replace the differential.
23-01-082G2024-01-02. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES. This Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) software package includes the following key VCU updates: • Brake light logic update for regenerative braking. o Revised logic to enable brake light actuation during regenerative braking at certain deceleration speeds and during i-Pedal mode driving without the need to press the brake pedal • i-Pedal mode operation logic update. • Revised i-Pedal operation logic. • 12V battery saver logic update allows charging from EV Battery as low as 10% battery SOC (State of Charge) when vehicle is parked.
23-EE-013G2023-12-22. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. This bulletin is issued to provide the extended battery diagnosis procedure using GDS. This battery diagnosis function displays the various battery-related faults such as: • Internal short circuit • Battery deterioration • Malfunction of electronic parts • Insufficient battery charge • Normal battery • Charging defect Battery diagnosis uses the battery sensor history saved for the last 30 days and ICU diagnostic communication to track battery state of charge (SOC) and current parasitic draw history.
23-DS-003G2023-11-30. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. When servicing any of the specified vehicles below with the corresponding DTCs, follow the step-by-step procedures in this bulletin. • Electronic-Limited Slip Differential (E-LSD) actuator DTC codes P188213, P188900, or P189600
23-DS-002G2023-11-30. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. When servicing any of the specified vehicles below with the corresponding DTCs, follow the step-by-step procedures in this bulletin. • Transfer case actuator DTC codes P196000, P195800, or P195513
23-01-082G2023-11-06. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, AIR; POWER TRAIN. • 12V battery saver logic update allows
23-DS-004G-12023-11-06. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION.
23-FL-006G2023-11-06. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Neutral Coasting Mode may not activate under certain conditions when the battery State of Charge (SOC) is less than 75%. This update revises the software logic to be activated regardless of battery SOC.
23-01-069G-12023-10-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY; POWER TRAIN. Certain 2023MY G80 Electrified (RG3 EV), 2023-24MY GV60 (JW1 EV), and 2023-24MY GV70 Electrified (JK1a EV) vehicles may have a condition where low 12V auxiliary battery charging occurs due to an ICCU (Integrated Charge Control Unit) fault and may set the following DTC P1A9096 – “DC/DC Converter Input Voltage Sensor Fault”. When a fault occurs, the vehicle may enter a reduced power mode while various warning lights, an audible chime will sound, and large messaging in the vehicle’s instrument cluster will appear, instructing the driver to stop the vehicle. The vehicle will be inspected for a DTC P1A9096 and may require either an ICCU software update or ICCU replacement and fuse replacement.
23-01-069G-12023-10-02. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
