Certain 2019 – 2022 model year Genesis G70 vehicles may experience an inoperative blower motor (not blowing) that may be caused by damage or deterioration of the blower motor multi-fuse and fuse box. At Genesis, we are committed to providing vehicles of outstanding quality and value. In an effort to meet this commitment, Genesis is extending the warranty coverage for the front wiring assembly under this condition to 10 years/ 120,000 miles from the date of original retail delivery or date of first use and is valid for original and subsequent owners.
26-BE-005G DCS2026-03-04. Warranty extension. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. The warranty coverage for repairs and replacement of the front wiring on some G70 (IK) vehicles has been extended to 10 years or 120,000 miles from the date of original retail delivery or date of first use, whichever occurs first, and is valid for original and subsequent owners. Some vehicles may have an inoperative blower motor (not blowing). This may be caused by damage or deterioration of the blower motor multi-fuse and fuse box. Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 26-BE-005G provides the service procedure to inspect multi-fuse and fuse box for damage or deterioration and, if necessary, replace the blower motor front wiring.

Any vehicles under 10 years/120,000 miles are covered by this TSB, even if the vehicle is within the original warranty of 5 years/60,000 miles.

25-FL-002G OL2025-03-07. Warranty extension. FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. Certain 2019 – 2023 model year Genesis G70 vehicles may have a Fuel Control Valve (FCV) in the High-Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) assemblies that could allow excess fuel to enter the fuel pump. This condition may result in a reduction or loss of motive power at low speeds. The vehicle will also have Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0088. The warranty coverage for the High-Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) has been extended to 15 years or 150,000 miles from the date of original retail delivery or date of first use and is valid for original and subsequent owners.

Certain 2019-2023MY G70 (IK) vehicles are equipped with high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) assemblies that have fuel control valves (FCV) that could allow excess fuel to enter the fuel pump due to gradual wear of the FCV plunger.
