A programming bug in the central gateway (CGW) for software level 81Z-006 will not allow completion of the preset #2 PTO engine speed. During PTO speed request for anything greater than the #1 set speed , if the Cummins ECU software determines that the increase in speed isn't ramping fast enough, it will refer to an engine torque control setting instead of the engine speed control setting.

DT12 Trans Chafe2021-04-08. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; POWER TRAIN. DTNA received a field notification on multiple units regarding diagnostic fault codes that were found to be causing issues to the After Treatment Control Module (ACM). These fault codes indicated that the ACM communication message was not received by the Motor Control Module (MCM) which in certain cases, led to a 25% engine de-rate situation. Further diagnosis revealed that the DT12 wiring harness was chafing and contacting the transmission TCU case. To reduce potential chafing areas, the proposed short-term containment was to route the wiring harness using additional tie straps. This communication applies to Freightliner and Western Star vehicles built with DT12 transmissions.

The Regulatory Compliance Marking (RCM) was not implemented on the Key Fobs shipped to the Australian/New Zealand Market, as required by AS/NZS 4417.1 and 4417.2. The marking indicates component compliance with the requirements imposed or covered by these regulations. Key Fob replacements for the right hand drive (RHD) Cascadia, properly marked for sale and distribution in Australia and New Zealand will be provided and programmed.
