20243162024-06-05. Electrical. Issue: On certain RV trailers, a wire in the 7-pin trailer connector may have been wired to the wrong side of the breaker. As a result, the wire may not have proper circuit protection and could short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to rewire the affected wire to the breaker.
20202852020-06-25. Structure. Issue: On certain travel trailers or motorhomes equipped with frameless windows, the glass may not be properly attached to the metal hinges. As a result, the glass could separate from the hinge and fall from the trailer. Safety Risk: A window that detaches from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest river will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer or motorhome to a dealer to inspect the adhesive bonding on the window glass. Dealers will replace the glass, if necessary.
20200492020-02-10. Accessories. Issue: On certain travel trailers, the stove inside the trailer may have been installed too close to the decorative window trim. Safety Risk: When the stove is operated, the decorative window trim could catch fire. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to replace the fabric window valance with a metal or aluminum (non-combustible) trim.
