Service bulletins for the 2022 Ford Transit
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 51370 | 2023-03-04. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:OIL/LUBRICATION:PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE SENSOR. Some 2022-2023 Transit/E-Transit vehicles may experience an inaccurate air discharge temperature when the EATC is operating in auto or manual mode and the temperature set to 60°F (15.5°C) or above. During this condition, the system commands full or mostly heat and the air discharge temperature will only reduce in the LO setting. This may be due to calibration in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) module. Engineering is aware of the concern and is currently working on a solution, expected in 2nd Quarter 2023. Inform the customer that Ford is currently investigating this concern and they can continue to drive the vehicle. Monitor OASIS for updates. |
