| SSM 48233 | 2019-11-05. Service bulletin. STEERING. Some 2019-2020 Transit Connect vehicles built on or after 28-May-2018 may exhibit lack of power steering assist with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0131 present and a loss of communication with the power steering control module (PSCM), the body control module (BCM), the instrument cluster (IC), and/or the steering column control module (SCCM). Inspect mega fuse F2 (80 Amp) powering the PSCM. Some F2 fuses may be open due to over tightening and may need replacement. If the fuse integrity is verified, proceed with standard repair processes. Base casual part number is 14290 which is the fuse box/harness assembly. |
