Service bulletins for the 2023 Ford Mustang
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

During replacement of the electronic power assist system (EPAS) steering gear assembly on 2015-2023 Mustang vehicles, removal and replacement of the inner tie rods and bellows boots is required. To assist engineering with root cause analysis of failed steering gears, include these parts in the same package when returning warranty replacement steering gears. Make sure to avoid damage to the bellows boots or inner tie rods during removal. The steering gear should also be packaged in the original box with all protective insulators in place to properly protect it during shipping. |
