Service bulletins for the 2025 Ford Maverick
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 54586 | 2026-02-19. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. Some 2025-2026 Escape/Maverick/Bronco Sport vehicles equipped with an 8-inch instrument panel cluster (IPC) display may exhibit a condition where the fuel gauge displays up to the 8th mark below full fuel level when the fuel tank is full. This condition does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected by the end of Q2 2026. Replacement/reprogramming of the IPC will not resolve this condition. Monitor PTS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. If this condition is encountered, enter a vehicle identification number (VIN) and click the "Submit Global Concern Report (GCR)" link at the upper right of the PTS "Vehicle ID" screen. Fill out the GCR form, referencing this article number in the report. |

| SSM 54531 | 2026-02-04. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. 2025 F-150/Bronco Sport/Maverick vehicles are no longer equipped with illumination around the universal serial bus (USB) ports within the media hub located in the instrument panel and/or forward section of the floor console. The lack of illumination around the USB ports is not a defect or fault and the replacement of any parts is not a warrantable repair. Confirm media hub operation by plugging a device into the USB port and confirm it connects to the vehicles entertainment system and charges the device. The media hub provides increased charging compared to prior model years. Do not submit a claim for this condition. |
| TCU-25.2.8.5 Maverick | 2026-02-04. Over-the-air update. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. "Quality improvements include: -Addresses a loss of connectivity caused by a Cellular Domain Service outage" |
| SSM 54519 | 2026-01-27. Service bulletin. FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2022-2025 Maverick hybrid vehicles may exhibit a no crank/no start condition due to a 12V battery drain after performing the air conditioning control module (ACCM) software update. Engineering is aware of this symptom and is currently developing a repair which is expected to be available in late Q2 of 2026. If a vehicle comes in for this condition, submit a Global Concern Report (GCR) and monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. To submit a report, click on the "Submit Global Concern Report (GCR)" link at the upper right of the PTS Vehicle ID screen (VIN required) and fill out the form. Do not use the "Report A Problem" link to submit a report for this condition. |
| SSM 54423 | 2025-12-10. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2025 Maverick vehicles may exhibit a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U053B:56 stored in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). This may be due to the software within the image processing module A (IPMA) resulting in this DTC setting in the IPC. To correct this condition, update the IPMA using the latest version of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 14G647 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4. |
| SSM 54250 | 2025-10-02. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2024-2025 Escape Hybrid/Maverick Hybrid/Nautilus Hybrid/F-150 non-Lightning/F-Super Duty/Bronco and 2025 Expedition/Navigator/Ranger vehicles where customers have installed an aftermarket supplemental braking system may experience a discharged 12-volt battery after recreational towing. This may be due to the supplemental braking system keeping the vehicle awake during brake applications. Advise customers that while recreational towing the vehicle with a supplemental braking system installed, it is recommended to use a 12-volt battery charger connected to a power source external to the vehicle being towed. The Owners Manual is in process of being updated with this information. |
| SSM 54202 | 2025-09-18. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY/WIPER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY. Some 2023-2025 Explorer (rear windows only), Bronco Sport, Escape, and Maverick vehicles equipped with minor feature code B2DAC may exhibit an inoperative passenger front and/or rear window switch. To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by clicking "Additional Information" under Vehicle Information or double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner of Professional Technician System (PTS). This may be due to an open diode in one of the passenger window switches. To correct the condition, replace the passenger window switch of the affected window. If the condition persists continue with normal diagnostics. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 501-11. For claiming, use causal part 14529 and labor operation 14529A in the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. |

Some 2021-2025 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC4/Digital Experience may exhibit an unsuccessful telematics control unit module (TCU) software update or software activation during a universal serial bus (USB) update. This may be due to the vehicle connectivity setting being disabled. |

Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P2450 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM).
