Service bulletins for the 2023 Ford F-350
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.
284 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

| SSM 53759 | 2025-05-13. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. After replacement of any TRON module, the gateway module (GWM) and the TRON capable modules can set diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) U211A, U211B, U211C, U3034, U3035, U3036, U35D9, U35DA and/or U35DB if the secret authentication security keys are not aligned between the modules, a loss of communication is occurring between modules and/or a module is not responding. This may be a result of missing the new module secret authentication security key obtained when running the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) "Trusted Real-Time Operation Network (TRON) Module Authentication" procedure after replacement. When replacing a TRON capable module, run the FDRS "Trusted Real-Time Operation Network (TRON) Module Authentication" procedure in the GWM tool box, not in the toolbox of the module with the DTC's, to distribute a new set of secret authentication security keys to all TRON-capable modules. Using the specific vehicle identification number (VIN), refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 418-00 and 418-01 for updated DTCs, applicable TRON module listings and pinpoint tests. |

| SSM 52730 | 2024-08-06. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2023-2024 F-Super Duty and 2024 F-150/Nautilus vehicles may set DTC U211B:51 in the telematics control unit (TCU) module after a software update on the TCU is performed at dealer or via over the air (OTA) Update. The DTC U211B:51 in the TCU has no effect on vehicle functionality or connectivity. Replacement or reprogramming of the TCU will not resolve this condition. DTC U211B:51 should be ignored if no other DTCs are present in the TCU and no symptoms present. No further service action is required. |
| SSM 51738 | 2023-06-30. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles may set diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U211B:87 in various modules when a diagnostic self-test is performed, which includes: powertrain control module (PCM), advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), anti-lock brake system (ABS), power steering control module (PSCM), body control module (BCM), telematics control unit (TCU), driver door module (DDM), and/or passengers door module (PDM). This may be due to the modules DTC sensitivity during vehicle key-on/start-up. Replacement or reprogramming of these module(s) may not resolve this condition. U211B:87 should be ignored if: no other DTCs are present, no warning indicators are illuminated while the engine is running and no noticeable symptoms are present. No further service action is required. |
| SSM 51675 | 2023-06-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:BODY CONTROL MODULE/BCM. Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 may experience programming errors after a replacement of the body control module (BCM) for various concerns. After programmable module installation (PMI) of the new BCM, diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) U2100:00, U2101:00 and/or U211B:87 may be present. Download and run the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) application titled Trusted Real-Time Operation Network (TRON) Module Authentication, and perform the TRON Diagnosis and Repair and Reset ECU on CAN BUS routines. Once both TRON routines have been completed, re-run the BCM PMI application. Verify that all BCM DTCs have cleared. Service procedures are being updated to improve this process. Monitor OASIS for updates. |
