Service bulletins for the 2022 Ford F-350

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM 511082022-10-03. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM. Some 2022 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with SYNC4 and a 12.3 inch center display screen may exhibit a condition where the air conditioning (A/C) compressor will not engage while attempting to defog the windows, ambient air temperatures are between 60°F (15°C) and 72°F (22°C), and humidity is high. This may be due to the software in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) control module. To correct the condition, reprogram the HVAC module using the latest software version of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 18C612 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
SSM 509372022-07-20. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER; VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM. Some 2015-2022 F-150, 2017-2022 F-Super Duty and 2018-2022 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit poor air conditioning (A/C) performance. Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostic procedures have been updated to more accurately diagnose A/C performance concerns. Refer to the updated Diagnosis and Testing, and General Procedure in the WSM, Section 412-00 Climate Control System for diagnostic procedures
