| SSM 52314 | 2024-03-20. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. During service and repair requiring removal and replacement of a crankshaft bolt and/or crankshaft damper, achieving proper torque of the crankshaft pulley bolt is critical. Incorrect torque may allow the bolt to loosen resulting in the timing gear breaking and engine damage. Replacement of the bolt is critical to the repair and accurately following the installation procedure in the Workshop Manual (WSM) Section, 303-01 is extremely important. The bolt torque procedure can be found in the crankshaft front seal removal and installation procedure or in the engine assembly procedure. |

| TSB 24-2042 | 2024-03-07. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. This article supersedes TSB 23-2019 to update the model years affected, add an additional labor operation, and correct the part number called out in the Service Procedure. Some 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles equipped with a MT88 manual transmission may experience a rotational scraping noise while the transmission is in neutral, 1st or 2nd gear with the clutch pedal released and may be more noticeable in ambient temps below 10°C (50°F) and after a cold soak. This noise may diminish as the transmission warms up. This may be due to the 5th and 6th gear synchronizer rings. |
| TSB 24-2040 | 2024-03-07. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. Some 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles may exhibit paint damage on the rear quarter panel due to contact with the soft top rear window. This may be due to a contact condition that can occur during extreme off-road driving between the soft top rear window and the rear quarter panel. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to modify the rear window. |
| SSM 52258 | 2024-02-23. Service bulletin. LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES:DOORS:LOCK; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a parasitic battery draw. This may be due to an interior door lock switch on the driver's and passenger's interior door panels. Prior to normal Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics, check both front door lock control switches for damage and/or proper operation. If a front door lock control switch does not operate as designed, repair as necessary. If no problems are found, continue with normal WSM diagnostics. For claiming, use causal part 14028 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. If the draw is still present, refer to WSM Section 414-00 for normal diagnostics. |
| SANVol 2 Issue 1 | 2024-02-06. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM); POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. The Service Awareness Newsletter is an informal communication that contains information that may not be presently available in a TSB, SSM, GSB, or other electronic communication. This artile includes ifnormation on warranty, technical service tips and other service information. |
| TSB 24-2021 | 2024-02-06. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. This article supersedes TSB 23-2213 to revise Figure 1, add 2024 vehicles and the part list. Some 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a whistle noise below the lower left windshield area at the bottom of the A-pillar. This may be due to a missed body sealer application at the factory. |
| SSM 52197 | 2024-01-30. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; WHEELS; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. Some 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles equipped with 4x4 with part time engagement and built on or before 12-Jan-2024 may exhibit a condition of the vehicle being stuck in neutral tow mode. This may be due to a concern with the all-wheel drive (AWD) module software. Make sure the proper procedure is being followed to exit neutral tow mode by referring to the Owner's Manual > Towing Your Vehicle > Recreationally Towing Your Vehicle. Make sure the vehicle's battery is fully charged and then diagnose all diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in the AWD module. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-07A. If diagnostics do not resolve the concern or there are no DTCs present in the AWD module, reprogram the AWD module using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. Refer to the appropriate section of the WSM. Once the repair is complete, verify the vehicle's ability to successfully enter and exit neutral tow mode by cycling the vehicle in and out of neutral tow mode a minimum of two times, allowing the vehicle to enter sleep mode (key-off for at least 5 minutes) be |
| SSM 52180 | 2024-01-18. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:AUX AUDIO JACK/PLUG. 2024 Bronco (non-Raptor) vehicles will not come from the factory with a pre-installed trailer tow package that includes a 2 in. (50.8 mm) trailer hitch, a 4+7 pin electrical connector and supporting software updates. The trailer tow package for the 2024 Bronco (non-Raptor) will only be available as a Ford Accessory Dealer Installed Option (DIO) (service part number VP2DZ-15A416-B). When ordered, the DIO trailer tow package will ship to the dealership that will receive the vehicle so that installation can occur prior to customer delivery. | SSM 52178 | 2024-01-18. Service bulletin. ENGINE; UNKNOWN OR OTHER; STRUCTURE: UNDERRIDE. Some 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a rattle from the front windows with the windows placed in the partially down position and driving over rough roads and/or bumps. This condition is currently under investigation and repairs and/or component replacement is not expected to reduce the rattle. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and that engineering is currently developing a solution which will be available in Q3 2024. Monitor OASIS and schedule a follow up appointment with the customer when the fix becomes available. |
| SSM 52166 | 2024-01-18. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECU/ECM):SOFTWARE; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 may experience a concern during SYNC module (APIM) programming where the vehicle's center display screen indicates: USB Error. This may be due to a lack of memory space available to perform the APIM software update. If it is a memory concern, the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) will provide an option to delete the voice application. Re-enter the module programming and when prompted, do not select first option - SYNC Module (APIM) Software Update, select the second option - Delete Voice Application(s) From Module. Once deleted, run the SYNC Module (APIM) Software Update as directed, this will update the software and automatically reload the voice app. If the voice delete option is not available, continue with normal diagnostics in the Workshop Manual, Section 418. |
