23-028-152018-12-10. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY. Matte Finish Care And Protection Matte paint is a unique exterior treatment that gives your Fiat 500X a distinctive appearance. Matte finishes are different from other automotive paints and need special care to maintain their appearance. Typical gloss paints use a high gloss clear-coat finish that reflects light and gives a shiny appearance. A matte finish uses a different coating that diffuses light, providing a unique ?flat? finish. Unlike a typical high gloss clear-coat, damage to the matte coating (such as scratches or wear from aggressive cleaning) cannot be polished or buffed out. Once an area is damaged or becomes shiny, the ?flat? appearance cannot be restored.

Antenna Mast Will Not Screw Into Base This bulletin involves inspecting and installing the correct antenna mast, if required. The dealer may not be able to install the antenna mast to the antenna base. The mast may have the incorrect thread pitch (1.0 mm) and will not screw into the base. The mast should have a thread pitch of 0.8 mm.

Flash: Transmission Shift And Drivability Enhancements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Transmission Control Module (TCM) with the latest available software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): ? P0711 - Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor A Circuit Range-Performance. ? P1CC9 - Unable to Engage Gear. ? P1D98 - Incorrect Gear Ratio Clutch B or D Defective. ? P1DAD - Input Shaft-Output Shaft Direction Correlation. ? U1424 - Implausible Engine Torque Signal Received. In addition, the customer may also experience one or more of the following transmission related conditions: ? Garage Shifts (Shifting from Park or Neutral into Drive or Reverse.) ? Harsh 1-2 upshifts. ? Less than desired accelerator pedal response in Sport and TractionPlus modes. ? RPM flare at engine start. ? Less than desired idle performance when shifting into DRIVE or REVERSE following a cold start.

Display the correct media screen when using iPod touch. ? Improve screen layouts during media playback. ? Improved SMS screen displays. ? Correctly display speed lockout messages. ? Color improvements on navigation map. ? Improved chime warning volumes. ? Browsing improvements for Bluetooth audio. ? Improved conference call handling. ? Mopar offers an alternative product (82213192) which is a water based product approved for sale in the aforementioned states.~ ~ Please inform the customer & your prep dept that spraying excessive amounts of the fabric protector on load floors will result in the breaking down of the adhesive (glue) that is used to create the bond between the fabric (carpet) and the load floor. This will apply to any vehicles equipped with rear load floors such as WK, WD, PM, MK, KA, KK. The carpet will appear to be loose, wrinkly, or bunch up~
