| 15V222000 | 2015-04-15. POWER TRAIN:CLUTCH ASSEMBLY:PEDAL/HAND LEVER(MOTORCYCLE). Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2006 Dodge Viper and Jeep Wrangler and Liberty vehicles manufactured July 1, 2005, to July 31, 2006. In the affected vehicles, the springs within the clutch pedal position switch that prevents the vehicle from starting unless the clutch pedal is pushed down may break. As a result, the vehicle may not be started when the clutch pedal is pushed down or the engine may crank and start without the clutch pedal being pushed down causing the vehicle to unexpectedly lurch. Built 2005-07-01 to 2006-07-31. |
| 2019629 | 2019-12-12. Airbag. Issue: On certain cars, the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) could malfunction. This could cause the airbags and/or seat belt pretensioners to deploy without a crash. Safety Risk: Airbags or seat belt pretensioners that deploy without a crash could create a risk of injury and also increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their cars to a dealer to replace the Occupant Restraint Controller with an updated module. |
|---|---|
| 2015163 | 2015-04-16. Electrical. On certain vehicles equipped with manual transmissions, a defect in the clutch interlock switch could allow the starter to engage without depressing the clutch pedal. If recommended starting procedures are not followed, this could cause unintended vehicle movement, which could result in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the clutch interlock switch. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
