On certain vehicles equipped with a 2.4L engine, the high pressure power steering hose is routed in a high temperature area, which could cause it to age prematurely and develop a leak. Power steering fluid leakage in the presence of an ignition source can result in an under hood fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the high pressure power steering hose with an updated part that has increased temperature capability. |
