25V6740002025-10-09. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:LEVER AND LINKAGE:FLOOR SHIFT. Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2013-2016 Dodge Dart vehicles. The shifter cable may detach from the transmission, preventing the vehicle from shifting into the park (P) position and causing a loss of park function.
19V2930002019-04-11. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:LEVER AND LINKAGE:FLOOR SHIFT; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2013-2016 Dodge Dart vehicles equipped with 6-speed automatic transmissions. The shifter cable bushing may fail allowing the shift cable to detach from the transmission. Built 2012-02-24 to 2016-10-04.
17V8240002017-12-21. EQUIPMENT. Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling various Dodge, Chrysler, and RAM vehicles equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V824-0103.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. For a full list of the affected fire extinguisher models visit: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17E062-5427.pdf Built 2015-03-11 to 2015-10-10.
16V1130002016-02-26. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2016 Dodge Dart vehicles manufactured July 25, 2015, to December 16, 2015 and equipped with a 2.0L engine and a manual transmission. Additionally included are certain 2015 Dodge Dart vehicles similarly equipped and brought in for dealer service between September 15, 2015 and January 12, 2016. In the affected vehicles, the powertrain control module that monitors the engine torque output may be missing a backup layer of software. Built 2015-02-05 to 2015-10-17.
15V5420002015-08-25. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Dodge Dart vehicles manufactured February 24, 2012, to June 16, 2015. The affected vehicles may experience failure of the transmission control module (TCM), causing the transmission to unexpectedly shift into neutral. Built 2012-02-24 to 2015-06-16.
14V8000002014-12-17. TIRES:PRESSURE MONITORING AND REGULATING SYSTEMS. Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2015 Dodge Dart Aero vehicles manufactured August 24, 2014, to October 28, 2014. The affected vehicles were built with a premium instrument cluster and Lowline Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The TPMS warning light may not illuminate when low tire pressure is detected. Thus, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 138, "Tire pressure monitoring systems." Built 2014-08-24 to 2014-10-28.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
20255412025-10-09. Powertrain. Issue: On certain vehicles, the shifter cable may detach. As a result, the transmission may not shift gears when the shifter is moved. Additionally, if the vehicle isn't in the Park (P) position, and the parking brake isn't applied, the vehicle could roll away. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission. Vehicles that were repaired under V34 (Transport Canada recall no. 2019-183) also require this repair. Safety Risk: A parked vehicle that rolls away could create the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners in writing. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
20245482024-08-15. Label. Issue: On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label does not list that there is no spare tire in both official languages. The label reads as "NONE" when it should read as "NONE / AUCUN". Canadian regulations require the information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Safety Risk: This error does not affect vehicle safety. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. The company has corrected the tire and loading information label for all new vehicles.
20191832019-04-12. Powertrain. Issue: On certain cars equipped with an automatic transmission, the shifter cable may detach. This could cause the transmission not to shift gears when the shifter is moved. If a driver attempts to exit the car while it is not in the Park position, and the parking brake is not applied, the car could move suddenly. Safety Risk: Sudden and unexpected movement of the car could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the transmission side shifter cable bushing with an improved one. Note: The gear position indicator on the instrument cluster and next to the shifter will continue to work properly. In addition, if the driver's door is opened while the transmission is not in Park, the door ajar messages will display on the instrument cluster and chimes will sound.
20176632017-12-22. Accessories. On certain vehicles equipped with the Roadside Emergency Kit containing a Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the suspect Kidde fire extinguisher with a new Kidde fire extinguisher with a steel nozzle. 20160992016-02-29. Powertrain. Certain vehicles equipped with a manual transaxle may contain an engine control module (ECM) that lacks one of three levels of fault detection software. If a fault occurs causing engine power surging beyond what would be expected for the accelerator pedal position, the software may not detect the fault and may not reduce engine torque. This could allow an unintended acceleration or an increase in engine power output which, depending on the driver's reactions and traffic conditions, could increase the risk of a crash resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the ECM with updated software. Note: The driver of the vehicle can override any such event by depressing the clutch and/or the service brake pedals.
20153822015-08-27. Powertrain. On certain vehicles, a defect in the Transmission Control Module (TCM) mounting bracket may cause the printed circuit board solder joints to separate, resulting in an electrical open circuit in the TCM. An open circuit in the TCM could cause the transaxle to shift into “Neutral” without warning. If the transmission shifts into neutral, the vehicle may experience a loss of motive power, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the Transmission Control Module and the TCM mounting bracket.
20145812014-12-19. Lights And Instruments. On certain vehicles, a fault in the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) could cause the vehicle to fail to display the low pressure telltale when low tire pressure is detected. An inoperative TPMS could allow underinflated tires to go unnoticed by the driver, which could affect vehicle stability and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update vehicle software.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
