98V2080001998-09-08. STRUCTURE. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: LIGHT DUTY PICKUP TRUCKS. THESE VEHICLES MAY HAVE BEEN BUILT WITH BOLTS THAT WERE NOT PROPERLY HARDENED. THE BOLTS WERE USED TO ATTACH THE CAB AND THE CORE SUPPORT TO THE FRAME. Built 1998-03-31 to 1998-06-15.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
19981861998-09-21. Structure. On certain vehicles, the bolts which attach the passenger cab and the heater core support to the frame may not have been properly hardened. Soft fasteners in the core support and cab hold down area of the vehicle may compromise its crash worthiness. Correction: Core support and cab to frame attaching bolts will be replaced with properly hardened bolts.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
