Multi-Air Actuator Assembly For 2.4 Tigershark Engine ONLY: When attempting to diagnose P Codes related to the MultiAir Unit, please note that there are multiple causes listed for each in the diagnostic procedure. Pentastar Oil Filter Adapter All vehicles equipped with a 3.2L or 3.6L engine; If replacing the Oil Filter Adapter (OFA) due to a leak detected between OFA and block, an O-ring kit (68191356AA) is now available to repair OFA/Block Interface leaks. Using dye will assist in determining source of leak. Ensure OFA Cap Oring is seated in the proper groove in the cap and not damaged or cut. Engineering is seeking information regarding OFA leaks. Flash: 3.6L Powertrain Diagnostic and System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) set in the PCM memory: · **U1424-00 - Implausible Engine Torque Signal Received.** · P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. · U0402 - Implausible Data Received From TCM - (Transmission Control Module). · P0480 - Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit/Open. In addition, the following software enhancement is available: · Elimination of (disable) Low idle 550 RPM to mitigate rough idle complaints (Base idle fully warm maintained at 648 RPM).

Intake Manifold Gasket Intake Manifold Gaskets on Pentastar Upgrade (Sales Code ERC/ERF) are reusable provided they are not cut, torn or melted. The gaskets are not required by warranty to be replaced like they are on Pentastar Classic (ERB/EHB). The new gaskets are not interchangeable with Pentastar Classic Intake Manifold Gaskets.
