VEHICLES MAY HAVE A BROKEN SHIFT CABLE FITTING OR LOOSE SHIFT LINKAGE SWIVEL TUBES. WITH EITHER CONDITION, MOVING THE SHIFT LEVER TO "PARK" MAY NOT SHIFT THE TRANSMISSION TO "PARK". THIS COULD RESULT IN VEHICLE ROLL AWAY AND A POSSIBLE CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. CORRECTION: DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND, IF NECESSARY, REPLACE THE AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE RANGE SELECTOR CABLE. |
