2021-10-18. Structure. Issue: On a small number of vehicles converted for wheelchair access by BraunAbility, a screw that supports the left-front wheel well liner may contact and damage the transmission case. If this happens, transmission fluid could leak and eventually cause a loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A transmission fluid leak onto a hot surface can create the risk of a fire. Additionally, a loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: BraunAbility will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the affected screw and clip with a nylon rivet. The dealer will also inspect the transmission case for fluid leaks and repair it, as necessary.

2021-02-26. Tires. Issue: Certain vehicles were built with tires that may have been cured too long. As a result, the sidewall could crack or the tread and belts could separate. This could lead to a sudden loss of air pressure and could cause a tire failure. Note: This recall only affects certain Continental tires, with specific date codes and mold numbers. Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify the owners by mail and instruct them to take the vehicle to a dealer to inspect and replace the tires, if necessary.

Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with certain Continental tires, with specific date codes and mold numbers. Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the tires and replace the ones that have the DOT number and production mold number combinations identified by Continental. |
2020-10-15. Fuel System. Issue: On certain vehicles, there could be a problem with the fuel pump assembly. As a result, the flow of fuel to the engine could be partially blocked. Under certain conditions, like a low fuel level, this could cause the engine to stall. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the fuel pump module.
2020-07-30. Airbag. Issue: On certain vehicles, there may be a problem with the side curtain airbag inflators. As a result, the airbags may not inflate properly in a crash. Safety Risk: An airbag that does inflate properly could create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the side curtain airbags.
2019-09-06. Structure. Issue: On certain vehicles, the right-hand frame rail in the engine compartment may be cracked. This could cause reduced crash performance in certain frontal crashes. Safety Risk: Reduced crash performance could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer for an inspection. If the frame rail is found cracked, the vehicle will be replaced.
