This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have turn signal indicators on the Instrument Panel Cluster do not match the audible warnings. Technician will need to test the battery using the GR8. Technician should also verify the charging system is operating correctly.

This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have Service Engine Soon Malfunction Indicator Lamp on and a misfire. Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Codes P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204, P0205, P0206, P0261, P0262, P0264, P0265, P0267, P0268, P0270, P0271, P0273, P0274, P0276, P0277, P2146, P2149, P2152, P2155, P216A, and or P216D. Technician will need to inspect the fuel injector wiring harness for rub through or internal wire opens. If this concern is found repair or replace the injector harness as needed.

This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a Service Engine Soon Malfunction Indicator Lamp on. Technician will find Diagnostic Trouble Code P2097 or P2099. Technician will need to perform an injector balance or Active Fuel Injector Tester prior to going further. Technician will also need to check for a small leak in the exhaust if published Service Information diagnostics does not lead to a resolution.
