PIP5684B2020-08-10. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT. This Preliminary information communicates the use of air leak diagnostic test tool CH-52250 in addition to the information found in the service manual.
PIP51082017-08-15. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have an audible engine whine noise at 1500-1800 revolutions per minute. Technician will need to check the coolant level, remove serpentine belt to verify noise goes away, rotate the thermostat 90 degrees and retest, then replace thermostat and retest. Technician will replace the water pump if replacing the thermostat does not repair the audible engine whine noise.
PIP4158E2017-08-15. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have low oil pressure, no oil pressure, and/or engine noise. Technician will need to replace the oil pump, flush the oil cooler lines.
