| 18V576000 | 2018-08-30. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:DISC:CALIPER. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Chevrolet Equinox, Impala, Cruze, Volt and Bolt EV vehicles, GMC Terrain vehicles, Buick Lacrosse and Regal vehicles, Cadillac XTS and XTS Professional vehicles and 2018 Chevrolet Malibu vehicles. The rear brake caliper pistons may have an insufficient coating causing gas pockets to form, potentially reducing rear brake performance. Built 2018-05-16 to 2018-06-25. |
| 18V230000 | 2018-04-12. SEAT BELTS:REAR/OTHER. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2018 Buick Regal vehicles. Built 2017-06-09 to 2018-02-22. |
| 2022347 | 2022-06-30. Brakes. Issue: On certain vehicles, the electronic brake boost may not work properly when there is a partial or full loss of vacuum-brake assist. As a result, the vehicle may not meet the stopping-distance requirements of Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: An increase in stopping distance could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the electronic brake control module (EBCM) software. |
|---|---|
| 2021151 | 2021-03-15. Label. Issue: On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label does not list that there is no spare tire in both official languages. The label reads as "NONE" when it should read as "NONE / AUCUN". Canadian regulations require the information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Safety Risk: This error does not affect vehicle safety. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. General Motors has corrected the tire and loading information label for all new vehicles. |
| 2018177 | 2018-04-12. Seats And Restraints. On certain vehicles, the rear outboard seats may have had seat belts improperly routed around the rear seat bolster bracket during the manufacturing process. In the event of a crash, improperly routed seat belts may not provide adequate restraint to the seat occupants which could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect the rear outboard seat belts for proper routing and reroute the seat belts as necessary. |
